Building Local Networks for

Global Climate-adapted

Maternal and Child care.

Since its launch in 2021, MCH CARE has united

over 45 researchers and collaborators across

Bangladesh, Fiji, Indonesia, Malaysia, and

Australia — forming regionally embedded

communities of practice that strengthen

maternal and child health through

climate adaptation.

As planetary health remains critically

under-addressed in many parts of the world,

MCH CARE is laying the groundwork to expand

its model globally — connecting local insight

with international action to ensure that

mothers and children everywhere are part

of the climate resilience agenda.
