Malaysia
In Malaysia, MCH CARE partners with key researchers and health institutions to strengthen maternal and child health systems in the face of climate change. Among them are Professor Tin Tin Su, a public health physician and Director of SEACO’s Health & Demographic Surveillance System; Dr. Syahrul Nellis, a researcher specialising in climate and public health; and Dr. Fatima Ibrahim Abdulsalam, who brings expertise in implementation science and health systems. Their work centres on evidence-based research, policy engagement, and culturally responsive approaches that empower women, families, and healthcare providers to co-create climate-resilient solutions.
