Indonesia

In Indonesia, MCH CARE collaborates with academic and community partners to explore how climate change impacts maternal and child health — particularly in disaster-prone and rural settings. Associate Professor Suryane Sulistiana Susanti, based at Universitas Indonesia’s Faculty of Nursing, brings deep expertise in women’s health during crises and pandemics. She works alongside professionals such as Ns. Rona Cahyantari Merduaty to co-design interventions that are culturally sensitive, locally led, and grounded in women’s lived experiences. Their research is supported by partnerships with WHO Indonesia and other national stakeholders.
