SUMMARY
This study tested a mobile health (mHealth) and community health worker intervention to improve breast cancer screening in rural Malaysia during COVID-19. Women who received targeted messages and support were significantly more likely to attend clinical breast exams (46%) compared to the control group (3.5%). The findings show that mHealth and navigation support can effectively boost screening rates in underserved communities.
