SUMMARY
This study evaluated how school-based interventions—healthy cooking training and food subsidization—impacted the dietary intake of Malaysian adolescents. While all groups showed reduced energy and carbohydrate intake, only the healthy cooking group saw an increase in fat intake. No significant differences were found between intervention arms, suggesting that larger-scale programs with food subsidization may be needed to effectively improve adolescent eating habits.
