SUMMARY

This study explored the link between health literacy, knowledge, and attitudes toward Pap smear screening among women attending pre-marital courses in Malaysia. Despite high awareness of cervical cancer, Pap smear uptake remains low. Findings showed that women with higher health literacy and better knowledge had more positive attitudes toward screening, highlighting pre-marital courses as a key opportunity to improve awareness and prevention efforts.
